Just Released: Dungeon Defenders Gameplay Footage

Dungeon Defenders Gameplay Footage

Dungeon Defenders is finally out on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. We've previously featured the tower defense RPG, and if you haven't had a chance to check out the PAX interview with Trendy Entertainment, now would be a good time.

While there have been quite a few PC and indie console games ported to mobile devices (like the iPad and iPhone), this is one of the first instances where the opposite has occurred. Dungeon Defenders became available on iOS and Android devices last year, but this is the first time that more traditional platforms have had their chance at it. Some may have been curious what a mobile game would look like on a bigger screen or how it would play with more controls.

Don't know if you want to hit that purchase button on Steam, Xbox Arcade, or the PSN store yet? Perhaps these gameplay videos will help you decide if you want to assume the role of any of the cute class-based characters.

First up, Matt and Dan over at Giant Bomb teamed up to defend magical crystals and show you how the different spells, items, and abilities work in the game:

Popular gaming figure Total Biscuit spent over an hour going through Dungeon Defenders in his "WTF Is..." web series. Both parts of Total Biscuit's walkthrough are below and should give you some help if you're trying to figure out how to play the game.

Too long or too much talk? If you want a short gameplay video without any conversation on top, Game Trailers has a quick clip of some four player co-op gameplay.

What's your take on the game? If you end up buying it, be sure to post your Dungeon Defenders reviews in the comments below or up on the Indie Game Ichiban forums.
